Course Description

Diversity & Inclusion 1-On-1 webinars are usually structured as a conversation focused on a single topic with the goal of exploring one subject in a broader context. Since this series launched in February 2021, we’ve covered a wide range of topics—from the D&I business case to uncomfortable conversations, from allyship and neurodiversity to the ABCs of LGBTQ. We’ve had rich and robust conversations, but there is never enough time to get through all the questions during the Q&A. So, we’re changing things up this week.

In this episode, we will review some unanswered questions from previous episodes. We are also inviting new questions on any of the topics we’ve covered in the series. Questions can be submitted in advance by going to: https://bit.ly/0429-1on1.

The goal of this session is to revisit the business case for diversity and inclusion, identify fundamental D&I concepts, and review D&I terminology.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize the strategic business imperative of diversity

  • Recall terminology used in the practice of D&I

  • Identify fundamental elements of DEI strategy
